What We Believe
We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s only son, fully God and fully man, who was born in difficult times to gather in the excluded and marginalised of society by demonstrating to them God’s love in his words and actions. We believe that Jesus led an authentic human life as we do; that he went about doing good, healing the sick and preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom present in the miraculous things he said and did. We believe that Jesus called and still calls people to follow him to live a fulfilled and meaningful life as his disciples. We also believe that for love of humankind Jesus was arrested, tried and put to death on a cross but on the third day rose again and now reigns in glory at the right hand of God.

We believe that the Bible is the word of God in both the Old and New Testaments; a living, dynamic word mediated to us by the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, and our only source of authority. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, calls them to repentance, gifts all believers according to the needs of the Church and lives within all who give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. |
